Aslan Kudrnofsky
the lamps
it all began with an old wooden tripod I found at my grandfather's, who also was a photographer. there were three pictures I had already exhibited a few years prior, taken with an old analogue medium format ikonta. this camera accompanied me on many travels. I appreciate this device so much because the point at which the film is transported further is random due to a broken winder. the result is unpredictable multiple exposures. the ones shown originated in portugal. they seemed to be perfect for the lampshade. I poured the concrete for the base myself.
